Greg Bihn has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Greg started their career as a Summer Intern at NASA Ames Research Center in 1976. Following that, they worked as a Research Chemist at Oxy, where they conducted research on methane dimerization for alternative natural gas utilization. Greg then joined ARCO Oil and Gas Company as an Operations-Analytical Engineer in 1981 before transitioning to ARCO Alaska Inc. as an Operations Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for production optimization of oil wells on the North Slope of Alaska. Greg continued their career at ARCO Indonesia as a Senior Petroleum Engineer, where they worked on production planning and coordination. Greg eventually became the Manager of Production Operations Support at ARCO International Oil and Gas Co. before founding Technomedia International in 1991, where they served as President, CEO, and Founder. In 2008, they founded PetroEd and assumed the roles of President, CEO, and Founder. Currently, Greg Bihn is the Founder and Chairman of STEM Global Education Network, a position they have held since 2010.
Greg Bihn attended UC Santa Barbara from 1974 to 1978, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Following this, from 1979 to 1981, they studied at the University of Southern California and obtained a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
