Andy McGlade is an experienced instrument technician and team leader with over 14 years in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Instrument Team Lead at Petrofac since August 2016. In this role, Andy has led commissioning efforts for the Scolty/Crathes Field and managed shutdown planning and maintenance schedules, while also stepping in as Maintenance Supervisor when necessary. Prior to Petrofac, Andy held the position of Lead Instrument Technician at Bluewater Energy Services, where responsibilities included planning and executing maintenance plans and approving task risk assessments. Experience also includes roles at Maersk Group, Wood Group, RNLI, and the Royal Air Force, spanning responsibilities in calibration, faultfinding, and repair of various control and communication systems. Andy's education was completed at St Brendans High School.
