David Davies

Key strengths

David has extensive and current financial experience. He is a Chartered Accountant with a BA(Hons) in Economics from the University of Liverpool and an MBA from the Cass Business School. He has extensive capital and debt raising experience, as well as managing companies exposed to substantial and rapid change. He has served on the boards of listed companies in seven different countries.

Experience

David has over 35 years’ experience as a financial professional with a successful career as chief financial officer and deputy chairman of the executive board at OMV Aktiengesellschaft, as well as serving as group finance director for both Morgan Crucible Company plc and London International Group plc. Until it was acquired in May 2019 by Medco Energi Global PTE Ltd, he was also non-executive director of Ophir Energy Plc.
