John Hutton

John Hutton is a retired Chartered Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in Asset Integrity Assurance Management within the international oil and gas industry. Prior to retirement in April 2016, John held various senior roles at Petrofac, including Asset Integrity Assurance Manager, Facilities & Integrity Manager, and Head of Asset & Operating Integrity Assurance, overseeing compliance and assurance processes for complex operations. With a career spanning over four decades, John has managed large teams, developed Maintenance Management practices, and implemented Asset Integrity Management Systems across multiple projects globally. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Engineering Science with a focus on Mechanical Engineering from The University of Edinburgh. John may be available for ad hoc consultation or audit activities in Asset Integrity.
