John Sutherland

John Sutherland is an experienced technician specializing in instrumentation and fire safety, with a career spanning several decades in various roles. Sutherland began as an instrument apprentice at UKAEA from August 1987 to August 1991, later joining AOC International as an instrument technician from January 1992 to February 1994. Following this, Sutherland worked at Wood Group Fire Protection as a fire and safety technician from September 1994 to December 1998 and continued to develop skills in instrumentation at companies such as Wood Group Engineering and Wgpsn, serving as an instrument technician until April 2010. From November 2010 to March 2016, Sutherland worked at Wood Group PSN as an instrument technician and technical custodian. Most recently, Sutherland held multiple roles including E&I Supervisor and Instrument Team Leader at Petrofac from April 2017 to March 2023.
