Mark Gerken

Mark Gerken is the Metallurgy Group Manager at Petrofac, where they are technically responsible for all metallurgical activities within ECS. They have over 30 years of experience in metallurgy, including roles as a Metallurgist and Senior Metallurgist at various companies such as Oceaneering Oilfield Services and WorleyParsons. Mark's earlier positions include Production Metallurgist at TI Reynolds Rings Ltd and Forensic Metallurgist at Bodycote. They hold a Master of Science in Materials Engineering and Management as well as a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Materials and Microstructural Engineering, both from Sheffield Hallam University.
