Matthew Chalmers

Matthew Chalmers has extensive experience in instrument and control engineering, currently serving as Principal Instrument & Control Engineer at Petrofac since September 2020. Prior roles include Principal Instrument & Controls Engineer at Worley, where responsibilities encompassed conceptual engineering for a subsea project, and Senior Instrument & Controls Engineer positions at WorleyParsons Integrated Solutions and Amec Foster Wheeler, focusing on various engineering and design activities for ConocoPhillips projects. Earlier experience includes significant contributions at Wood Group PSN and PSN, where Matthew was involved in critical modifications and commissioning of control systems within multiple facilities. Matthew holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and has additional qualifications in safety instrumented systems.
