Simon Roy

Simon Roy is an experienced maritime professional with a robust background in various leadership roles within the offshore sector. Currently serving as Master/OIM at Petrofac since May 2021, Simon has previously held positions as Barge Master/Deputy OIM and DPO across several companies, including Floatel International AB, Subsea 7, and Stena Drilling Ltd. With a strong foundation in dynamic positioning and subsea construction operations, Simon has effectively utilized advanced DP systems like Kongsberg K-POS across multiple vessels. Education was completed at Glasgow Maritime Academy with a Master's degree in Nautical Science. Simon's extensive experience encompasses critical responsibilities in safety, operations management, and crew compliance in challenging environments.
