Michael Legg has worked in the gaming industry since 1986. Michael began their career as a Lead Programmer at Westwood Studios / Electronic Arts. In 1992, they took on the role of Lead Programmer at Virgin Games. Michael then moved on to Senior Software Engineer at Electronic Arts - Westwood Studios in 1998. In 1997, they became a Member and Peer Panelist at the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences. Finally, in 2003, they became President, Cofounder, and Senior Programmer at Petroglyph Games.

Michael Legg attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
