Carlo Soriano has an extensive work experience in the field of illustration and graphic design. Carlo began their career at Marvel Comics as a freelance artist in 2008, where they contributed pencils and inks for the comic "Evil Evolution" as part of the Marvel One-Shot Project. In the same year, they also worked as a freelance artist for Darkhorse Comics.
In 2010, Soriano joined Image Comics as the lead artist for the mini-series "Blood Red Dragon," created by Stan Lee. Carlo collaborated with Lee's team to design character concept art, environments, and props. Soriano also executed layout and pencil illustrations for all sequential pages of the four-issue mini-series.
Soriano further expanded their experience at DC Comics as a freelance artist in 2010. Here, they worked on the Holiday Special Anthology, where they showcased their skills as a penciller, inker, and colorist. Carlo collaborated with writers and editors to lay out and illustrate sequential pages for the stories in the anthology book.
Continuing their career progression, in 2011, Soriano joined PETROL as an art illustrator and graphic designer, specializing in storyboards and character development for various clients in entertainment, gaming, sports, and technology. Carlo developed visual art and brand assets for multi-platform advertising campaigns, including assisting in the design and creation of key art and assets for the "South Park: The Stick of Truth" campaign.
Throughout their career, Carlo Soriano has demonstrated a diverse range of artistic and creative abilities, working with renowned figures in the industry and contributing to various projects under different comic publishers.
Carlo Soriano attended the Academy of Art University from 1997 to 2000, where they studied Fine Art and Illustration. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Sylmar High School.
