Ali Al Saidi has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Ali started their career in 2004 as a Senior Assistant Legal Advisor at the Ministry of Legal Affairs, where they provided advice to the government on various contractual arrangements and assisted in negotiating and reviewing contracts for infrastructure projects. In 2012, they became the Head of Contracts Section, responsible for managing the section and ensuring timely completion of tasks and quality legal opinions.

In 2017, Ali joined Petroleum Development Oman as a Legal Counsel, where they provided legal services to the New Business Development and Contracting and Procurement teams. Ali facilitated discussions and negotiations on commercial, legal, and contractual matters with clients, tenderers, and contractors. Ali later took on the role of Acting Head of Ethics and Compliance, ensuring compliance within the organization.

Recently, in February 2022, Ali assumed the position of Head of Commercial Legal at Petroleum Development Oman. The specific responsibilities of this role are not provided.

Ali Al Saidi completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd between 2001 and 2004. Ali went on to pursue a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Law from the University of Bristol, which they completed in 2007.
