Alina Frankenberger

Alina Frankenberger is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Governance, Risk & Assurance at Petroleum Development Oman since December 2023. Prior to this role, Alina worked at Shell from November 2019 to December 2023 as a Finance Manager for Wells Ventures, where responsibilities included managing the transition to a sustainable wells environment, and as a Finance Advisor for the Retail Benefrux, focused on transforming the retail business to a low-carbon mobility model. Alina's academic background includes a Master of Science in Environmental Governance from the University of Oxford and a Master of Science in Economics & Climate Change from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Earlier roles include team leadership in Business Planning & Performance Management at Shell and experience as a Senior Governance, Risk & Assurance Analyst at Petroleum Development Oman, among various other positions in finance and research.
