Sulaiman al-Maashri

Sulaiman Al-Maashri has extensive experience in cybersecurity and information risk management, currently serving as Cybersecurity & Information Risk Manager and Head of Cyber Defense at Petroleum Development Oman since March 2010. Prior to this role, Sulaiman held the position of IS and SAP Security Specialist at Sohar Aluminium from December 2005 to March 2010 and worked as a Network Engineer at the National Bank of Oman from December 2002 to December 2005. Sulaiman holds a Master of Science degree in Information Management and Security from the University of Bedfordshire, obtained between 2016 and 2018, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware and Networking from the Middle East College of Information Technology, completed from 2003 to 2005.
