Tanmay Roy

Tanmay Roy is a Senior Geophysicist with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. Currently employed at Petroleum Development Oman since October 2022, Tanmay has previously held significant roles at Shell from January 2017 to October 2022, where responsibilities included Senior Geophysicist, Geophysical Interpreter in Production Geosciences, and Principal Geophysicist. Prior to Shell, Tanmay worked with BG Group from August 2006 to December 2017, serving as Principal Geophysicist, Lead Geophysicist, and Geophysicist. Tanmay holds a BSc in Physics from Calcutta University and completed education at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad.
