Nina Ringøen

Nina Ringøen has extensive work experience in the drilling and well technology field. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Cased Hole logging engineer offshore at Aker Solutions. Nina then moved on to ConocoPhillips, where they held various roles, including Senior Operations Engineer Offshore, Technical Advisor for Well Integrity, and Senior Well Intervention Engineer. From 2008 to 2009, they worked at Statoil as a Well Integrity Principal Engineer. Nina then joined Centrica as a Senior Drilling Engineer and Well Integrity Advisor from 2009 to 2012. After that, they worked at Talisman Energy as a Lead Drilling Engineer and Deputy Drilling Superintendent. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Suncor Energy as a Lead Drilling Engineer and Deputy Drilling Manager. Most recently, they have been working at Petroleumstilsynet as the Chief Engineer in Drilling and Well Technology since 2017. Additionally, they also had their own independent consultancy company called NINA RINGØEN AS from 2016 to 2017, where they worked as a Senior Drilling Engineer and Well Integrity Advisor.

Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Stavanger between 2016 and 2022. Nina'sfield of study during this program included Change Leadership, Project Planning, Contract- and Vendor Relationship, and Behavioral Economics.

From 1997 to 1998, Nina pursued a Master's degree in Offshore Technology at the University of Stavanger.

In 1996, they completed a Master's degree in Project Planning from Aalborg University.

In 1993, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Agder (UiA).

Nina also holds a Proficiency degree in English from the University of Cambridge, which they obtained in 1992.

In 1991 and 1992, they attended BI Norwegian Business School and pursued studies in Economics.

In addition to their formal education, Nina has obtained various certifications. These include IWCF Well Control Drilling Supervisor Level 4 from Maersk Training in March 2015, Basic Safety and Emergency Training from Falck Nutec AS in November 2014, Landmark Stresscheck, Compass, and Wellplan from Halliburton in May 2014, and Advanced Casing Design from Prentice Training Inc, Louisianna, Lafayette, USA in September 2011.
