Thom Fosselie has a diverse work experience in the petroleum industry. Thom currently serves as the Chief Engineer at Petroleumstilsynet since October 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Principal Engineer at DNV GL from September 2013 to October 2019. Before joining DNV GL, Thom worked as a Principal Consultant at DNV - Oil & Gas sector for over two decades, from April 1992 to September 2013. Thom began their professional career as a Trainee at Norsk Hydro in June 1991, where they stayed until April 1992.
Thom Fosselie's education history begins in 1985 when they enrolled at the University of Agder (UiA) and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marin Technology. Thom then continued their education at the University of South-Eastern Norway from 1989 to 1990, studying Subsea Technology. Following that, Thom attended the University of Stavanger in 1990 and 1991 to pursue Technical Safety.
