Ibrahim Niamatullah has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Ibrahim started their career in 2013 as an RF Engineer at MOBICOM Telecom, where they performed drive tests and physical optimization of WCDMA networks. Ibrahim analyzed RSCP and Ec/Io in WCDMA and conducted analysis for call drop and call setup failures.
In 2013, Ibrahim joined Petrolink as a Junior Field Service Engineer. Ibrahim provided real-time data transmission and visualization services for onshore and offshore rigs to Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil and gas company. Ibrahim held this role until 2016 when they were promoted to the position of Senior Field Service Engineer. In this position, they continued to provide RTDTVS to Saudi Aramco until January 2021.
Currently, Ibrahim is working at Petrolink as a Client Support Engineer. Their responsibilities include first-line customer support, QA/QC, and maintenance of engineering drilling data to meet client requirements. Ibrahim troubleshoots, assists, and resolves real-time data and systems issues as per client requests.
Ibrahim Niamatullah earned a Master's degree in Petroleum Data Management from the University of Aberdeen from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ibrahim also obtained certifications in Digital Futures A/B Testing, BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), and MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training). The Digital Futures A/B Testing certification was acquired in November 2022, while the BOSIET and MIST certifications were obtained in May 2023.
