Liz Hannah

Liz Hannah has over 30 years of work experience in various communications roles. Liz is currently the Vice President of External Affairs at Progress Energy Canada Ltd. Before that, they served as the Vice-President of Communications & Reputation Management at Cenovus Energy Inc. for eight years. Prior to that, they had different roles at Encana Corporation, including Team Lead of Communications Advisory and Group Lead of Employee Communications. Liz also worked as the Coordinator of Corporate Communications at PanCanadian Energy. In 1989, they started their own communication consulting company called Hannah Communications, where they worked with clients such as TransAlta Utilities, TransCanada Pipelines, and Canadian Airlines.

Liz Hannah earned a Journalism diploma from Mount Royal University in 1980, followed by a BA degree in English with a major in English from the University of Calgary in 1995. Liz went on to complete their Masters in Communications Studies at the University of Calgary in 2004.
