Alessandro Tavecchia

Alessandro Tavecchia is an experienced professional in the field of chemical science, currently serving as Global Technology Manager for Heavy Duty Engine Oils at PETRONAS Lubricants International since September 2017. In this role, Alessandro oversees the global business strategy for Heavy Duty technologies, collaborating with key internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Marketing, and Key Account Management. Previously, Alessandro held positions in R&D, including Project Manager and Engine Oil Formulator at PETRONAS, and worked as an R&D Specialist at Biraghi S.p.a., focusing on innovation in the food industry. Alessandro's earlier experience includes a role as a Product Development Technologist at Unilever, specializing in oral care products, and as a QC Chemist at Brai S.p.a. Alessandro holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Science from Università degli Studi di Perugia and has pursued further studies at Ghent University through an Erasmus training program.
