Peik Lean Yap has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. They are currently working at PETRONAS Lubricants International as the Global Head of Digital Strategy. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Head of Global Brand, Category, Revenue Management & Market Intelligence, and Head of Global Brand and Category Marketing at the same company.

Before joining PETRONAS, Peik Lean Yap worked at BP Castrol Lubricants (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, where they served as the Marketing Manager, responsible for leading the PCO business strategy development and brand management.

They also have experience in the banking sector, having worked at Bumiputra-Commerce Bank Berhad as the Assistant Vice President of i-Commerce (Marketing), where they were responsible for building and developing the i-Commerce brands and image.

In addition, Peik Lean Yap has held positions at GO2020.COM MSC SDN BHD as a Marketing Manager, L'OREAL (LOCM) SDN BHD as a National Account Manager, MARS SOUTH ASIA as the Duty Free and Vending Manager (Malaysia & Singapore), MARS SOUTH ASIA as the Petfood Brand Franchise Executive (Regional), and CALTEX OIL MALAYSIA LIMITED as a Customer Support Executive.

Peik Lean Yap attended Harvard Business School Shanghai in 2011, where they studied Marketing Strategies for Profitable Growth. Prior to that, they completed an MBA from the University of Nottingham in Malaysia from 2002 to 2006. Their undergraduate studies were at Universiti Malaya, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a focus on Business Administration from 1990 to 1994.
