S. M. Golam Noor began their work experience in 2006 as an Officer-Intern for Sales-Decorative at Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited. In 2007, they joined HeidelbergCement Bangladesh Ltd. as an Area Sales Head, achieving a 37% cumulative business growth in the Dhaka South area over four years. S. M. Golam then transitioned to Rahimafrooz (Bangladesh) Ltd. in 2011 and held various roles including Executive, Channel Development, Brand Executive for Battery, Manager of Marketing & Planning, and Trade Marketing Manager. During their time at Rahimafrooz, they successfully planned and achieved yearly ABP, AMP, and Cash PBT targets. In 2019, they joined United Lube Oil Limited, a concern of United Group, as the Head of Marketing & Business Development, focusing on developing new, long-term, and profitable business portfolios.
S. M. Golam Noor completed their BBA in Business Administration from the Institute of Business Administration, Jahangirnagar University, between 2001 and 2007. S. M. Golam then pursued an MBA in Marketing from the American International University-Bangladesh from 2010 to 2011. Before that, they completed their HSC in Science from Government Science College between 1998 and 2000. Their secondary education was at Sreenagor Pilot High School, Munshigonj, where they obtained their SSC in Science between 1996 and 1998.
