Imran Fadhil is a petrophysicist and data scientist at PETRONAS, where responsibilities include leading a team to develop machine learning solutions in petrophysics and conducting multi-well analyses to identify bypassed hydrocarbons. Previously, Imran held the position of operation petrophysicist, interpreting well logs for clastic and carbonate formations to facilitate rapid decision-making during drilling operations. Before joining PETRONAS, Imran served as a research assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where a key achievement involved migrating a Java-based image processing program into C++ for use in PFC-2D. Imran holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has completed the International Baccalaureate program.
