Mike Mason

Mike Mason has extensive experience in environmental consulting and management, currently serving as the Owner of Global Environmental Expertise Ltd since 2010. Key projects include independent environmental consultancy for Petrenel in West Africa and serving as an External Environmental Assessor for Petronas' Technical Professional Career Progression (TPCP) programme. Previously, Mason was the Consultant Senior Environmental Manager for Premier Oil's Sea Lion project and held the role of Group Environmental Manager at Tullow Oil from 2010 to 2014. Mason's career with BP spanned from 1985 to 2009, during which significant contributions were made in areas such as oil pollution response and environmental management in complex projects. Mason holds a Master's Degree in Oil Pollution in the Marine Environment from The University of Salford and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Plymouth.
