Palanivel S.janarthanan

Palanivel S. Janarthanan has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as General Manager (Venture Architect) at PETRONAS since October 2012, with prior roles including Head of Strategic Planning, Venture & Business Development, Head of Integrated Economics, and Head of Commercial for the RAPID Project. Before this, from April 2009 to September 2012, Palanivel was with Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd, working as Executive for Methanol Marketing & Trading. Initial experience at PETRONAS from 2007 to 2009 included a position as Executive in Chartering at MITCO. Palanivel holds a BSc Hons in Mathematics with Economics from Universiti Malaysia Sabah, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
