Tobin Postma

Tobin Postma currently serves as the Head of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications for Corporate Sustainability at PETRONAS since September 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at the City of Vancouver from May 2014 to July 2021, where Tobin held key roles such as Director of Intergovernmental Relations and Strategic Partnerships, leading advocacy efforts for financial support during the COVID-19 pandemic, and managing a team focused on addressing systemic social challenges. Previous roles at ArcelorMittal involved media relations and corporate responsibility, where Tobin enhanced community engagement strategies and oversaw global communications initiatives. Earlier positions included marketing coordination at CTV Globemedia and communication roles at the Child & Family Research Institute and the African Canadian Continuing Education Society. Educational credentials include an MBA in Corporate Social Responsibility from Nottingham University Business School and a BA in Communications from Simon Fraser University.
