Rakesh Chawla

Rakesh Chawla has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Rakesh is currently working at Petronet LNG Limited as the GGM & President-Finance since July 2020. Prior to this, they served as the CFO and VP Finance at Indraprastha Gas Limited from April 2018 to July 2020. Before that, they had various finance roles at Mahanagar Gas Limited, including AVP Finance, GM Finance, and DGM Finance from 2009 to 2018. Rakesh also worked as DGM (Finance) at Ballarpur Industries Ltd. (BILT) from 2005 to 2008 and as a Manager (Accounts & taxation) at Star Paper Mills Ltd from 1990 to 2005.

Rakesh Chawla completed their Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Jain College, Saharanpur in the years 1983 to 1985. Rakesh also obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Jain College, Saharanpur under the affiliation of Meerut University, studying from 1988 to 1991. Additionally, they pursued studies in Finance, General, and Taxation, completing the degrees of B Com, LLB, and FCA from Saharanpur (UP) during the same time period of 1983 to 1985.
