Steve Ross

Steve Ross has a diverse and extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Steve started their career at Arco Oil and Gas Company as a Geologist and progressed to the position of Staff Geologist, gaining expertise in various areas such as basin modeling, reserve calculations, and seismic interpretation. Steve then joined Reliance-Ramtech as a Senior Geologic Advisor, where they played a key role in exploring and developing major oil and gas fields in India. Steve later moved to PetroTel/PetroMalaysia as the Vice President for Southeast Asia. In this role, they oversaw operations and strategic initiatives in the region. Steve's most recent position was at Petrotel Inc, where they served as the Executive Vice President, leading various projects related to upstream oil and gas activities, including field assessment, economic optimization, and reserve analysis. Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated strong leadership and technical skills, making significant contributions to the industry.

Steve Ross completed their education in a chronological order, beginning with their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry and Geology from Millsaps College, which they earned between 1974 and 1979. Steve then pursued a Master's Degree in Geology from Louisiana State University from 1980 to 1982. Later, between 1994 and 1996, they attended Southern Methodist University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Science.
