Mathew Wong

Mathew Wong is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President Finance and CFO at Petrus Resources Ltd. since January 2017, responsibilities include arranging financing, overseeing financial reporting for a TSX-listed E&P company, and managing cash flow and corporate tax obligations. Previously, as Vice President of Finance at Argent Energy Trust, Mathew managed financial reporting processes and implemented internal controls for compliance with regulatory standards. Additional experience includes serving as CFO at DXI Energy Inc., where Mathew successfully led financial operations and capital fundraising efforts, and positions at Mitsubishi Canada and Ernst & Young, focusing on corporate accounting, investment, and advisory services.
