Gino Volpacchio is currently the Chief Executive Officer at PetVet Care Centers. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Lovesac from January 2008 to December 2017. While at Lovesac, they partnered with the founder to take the post-bankrupt company from $7MM to over $70MM in sales. This involved expanding the retail footprint by 50 new stores and 27 states, as well as expanding the eCommerce channel to 20% of total sales. Gino also implemented a leadership team, management structure, business processes, systems, reporting, and culture. Gino financed the company through multiple rounds of private equity and debt, leading to a public exit that resulted in excellent returns for all.
Before Lovesac, Volpacchio was the VP of Operations and Finance at Healthy Pet from January 1999 to December 2007. While there, they took the startup from a struggling founder through a $155MM exit. Gino did this by growing the company through acquisition, operational improvement, and rigorous management. Gino also financed the company through multiple rounds of funding during three changes in ownership, resulting in exceptional returns for all.
Volpacchio began their career in 1989 at General Electric, where they held various positions on the corporate audit staff until 1999.
