Ishara Naotunna

Ishara Naotunna has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ishara is currently working as an Associate Director - Product Marketing at Petvisor. Prior to this, they worked at spillthemarketingbeans.com as a Host and at Product Marketing Alliance as a PMA Ambassador. Ishara also served as the Head of Product Marketing at Vetstoria.

Earlier in their career, Ishara worked at WSO2 as a Lead | Product Marketing and an Associate Lead | Product Marketing. Ishara also held the position of Senior Marketing Officer - Events and campaigns during their time at WSO2.

Before joining WSO2, Ishara worked as an Emcee and Voiceover artist. Ishara also has experience in the radio industry, having held various managerial roles at TNL Radio Network (Pvt) Limited, such as Acting Manager - Programming, Training Manager, and Assistant Manager- Brand Development. Ishara also worked as a Morning Show Host and an Evening Show Host and Public Relations Officer at TNL Radio Network.

Earlier in their career, Ishara worked as a Client Servicing Executive at MullenLowe Sri Lanka and as a Sales Executive at Taj Hotels.

Ishara Naotunna has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences from the Open University of Sri Lanka, with a focus on Economics, Sociology, and Mass Communications. In 2012, they obtained a Professional Certificate in Marketing from the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Ishara further pursued their education and earned a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Bedfordshire Business School between 2019 and 2020. In 2020, they enrolled in the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing once again and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing. Ishara recently obtained the Certified Product Marketing Leader certification from the Product Marketing Alliance in 2021. Ishara Naotunna has also acquired various additional certifications, including Behavioural Science for Effective Messaging, Certificate in Product Management, Storytelling, Copywriting, Product Marketing Certified: Leadership, CIM ACIM Membership, Digital Marketing, Social Media Certification, Content Marketing Certification, and Behavioural Economics.
