Gabe Kravitz

Manager, Housing Policy Initiative at The Pew Charitable Trusts

Gabe Kravitz is a seasoned professional in housing policy and community organizing, currently serving as Manager of the Housing Policy Initiative at The Pew Charitable Trusts since September 2014. Prior to this role, Gabe held positions including Officer and Senior Associate in Consumer Finance within the same organization. Experience as a Community Organizer at Jewish Community Action from February 2012 to June 2014 included significant achievements in racial, social, and economic justice, such as passing the Minneapolis Responsible Banking Ordinance and winning marriage equality. Earlier roles include the Nomi Fein Social Justice Fellowship at the New Israel Fund/Shatil and an Administrative Assistant position with the McGill Middle East Program in Civil Society and Peace Building. Gabe holds a BA in Anthropology and Middle East Studies from McGill University (2006-2009) and has engaged in various roles that bridge education, legislative research, and archaeological work.
