Mary Catharine Pew

Mary Catharine Pew is the current Director at The Pew Charitable Trusts. Mary has over seventeen years of experience in project management and meeting planning.

Ms. Pew started their career as an International Affairs Liaison with the China Acrobats Association. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating cultural exchange programs between China and other countries. Mary also helped to plan and execute large-scale acrobatic performances.

In 2011, Ms. Pew transitioned to the corporate world, taking on the role of Project Manager with MCI. In this role, they managed a team of planners and coordinators who were responsible for executing events for Fortune 500 companies. Mary was also responsible for developing new business relationships and managing budgets.

In 2014, Ms. Pew joined Reed Exhibitions as a Project Manager. In this role, they oversaw the planning and execution of trade shows and conventions for a variety of industries. Mary was also responsible for developing new business relationships and managing budgets.

In 2017, Ms. Pew transitioned to the healthcare industry, taking on the role of Meetings and Exhibits Manager with the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In this role, they were responsible for exhibit space and advertising sales for the annual meeting. Mary also managed the exhibit hall floor plan, hall decor, and other exhibit hall components.

Ms. Pew has a proven track record of success in project management and meeting planning. Mary is a strategic thinker with a passion for developing new business relationships and executing flawless events.

Mary Catharine Pew received their Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Beijing Language and Culture University. Mary is certified as a Certified Meeting Professional by the Events Industry Council and as a Cvent Event Management by Cvent.
