Michael Dechant

Michael DeChant is a Senior Multimedia Producer at The Pew Charitable Trusts, holding various positions within the communications department. Prior to this role, Michael co-founded Double Six Productions, LLC, where Michael worked as a producer, director, and editor, notably co-creating the feature-length documentary "Soldiers of Paint." Michael has also worked as a contract video editor at the United States Institute of Peace and held various freelance positions in producing, directing, editing, and designing. With a background in cinematography and web design, Michael is an experienced professional in the field of multimedia production. Michael's educational background includes a MFA in Film and Media Arts from American University and a BA in Communications - Advertising from Loyola University Maryland.
