Michele Haynes is an experienced professional in marine conservation and environmental finance, currently serving as Officer for the Pew Marine Fellows at The Pew Charitable Trusts since December 2020, where leadership in the application process for Pew Fellowships and management of grants and contracts for the program are primary responsibilities. Prior experience includes roles at The Conservation Fund, where promotion of funding strategies for conservation took place, and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, where management of coastal resiliency projects and extensive grant administration were key functions. Michele holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William & Mary.
