Max von Hausen

Max von Hausen is a PPA Transaction Advisor at Pexapark. Prior to this, they were a Consultant at Zumma Energy Consulting from June 2019 to April 2021. Max was also a Business Development Consultant at E2M Energy to Market from July 2018 to March 2019.

Max has extensive experience in energy consulting and has worked with global investment funds, utilities and project developers. Max has also structured and negotiated PPAs to secure project financing, lower market risk and increase project´s ROI for various solar projects. In addition, they have developed and executed procurement strategies for large-scale industrials.

At E2M Energy to Market, Max performed detailed financial and qualitative analysis to define E2M´s energy procurement and commercial strategy. Max also developed a power industry mapping tool to orient purchasing and selling decisions. Furthermore, they redesigned and implemented the energy trading process workflow, including nomination, clearance and billing, as well as standardization of supply contracts (PPAs).

Max von Hausen's educational career includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from McGill University in Management, Finance and Sustainability, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Technische Universität Berlin in Energy and Process Engineering. Additionally, Max has a certification from Pexapark in Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Academy - Advanced and another certification from LinkedIn in Persuasive Selling.

They work with Erik Landstrom - PPA Transaction Manager, James Phillips - PPA Transaction Manager, and Ann Cocquyt - Senior PPA Transaction Manager. Their manager is Mathieu Ville, Head of PPA Transactions.
