Walter Steinmann

Walter Steinmann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the energy and sustainability sectors. Since April 2024, Walter has been serving as a member of the advisory board for the climate protection model region Glarnerland at Verein KlimaGlarus. Walter holds the position of President of the Board at GRZ Technologies since June 2023 and contributes as a board member at Solar21 AG, Cowa Thermal Solutions AG, and Pexapark. Walter has also been involved with HSLU Abteilung Technik und Architektur, Energy Infrastructure Partners as a Senior Consultant, and has been President of the Foundation Board at Oekozentrum Langenbruck. In addition to these positions, Walter has been consulting independently since October 2016 and holds a long-term advisory role at energate since June 2014. Academically, Walter earned a Dr. rer. soc in Politics and State Sciences from Universität Konstanz and a Lic. oec.publ in Applied Economics from Universität Zürich.
