Laura Stanley

Laura Stanley has a wealth of work experience, starting with a Photo Intern role at National Geographic Adventure magazine in 2009. Laura then worked as a Photo Researcher at Owlkids in 2010, followed by an Assistant Photo Editor role at HELLO! Canada in 2011. In 2012, they began working as a Photo Editor at Canadian Geographic. From 2014-2019, Laura held multiple roles at 500px, including Head of Business Development & Partnerships, Sr. Account Manager, Manager of Creative Services, and Lead Content Editor. During this same time period, they also worked as a Creative Photography Advisory Board Member at Humber College, a Photo Editor, Annual Photo Contest at Cottage Life Media, and a Photography Judge at Red Bull Illume. In 2019, they began working as Community Growth & Content Acquisition at Canva, and COO and Head of Business Development & Partnerships at Pexels.

Laura Stanley attended Centennial College from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Diploma in Journalism. Prior to that, they attended Humber College from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Diploma in Creative Photography.
