Paul Silke

Paul Silke has a diverse and extensive work experience. Paul started their career at Allied Irish Banks as a Network Consultant, where they programmed in C and Clipper and later specialized in designing and maintaining Local Area Networks. Paul then joined Dell as a Datacentre Networking Specialist, where they were responsible for planning and testing the network and host move. Paul also served as the European Network Manager at Dell, where they managed day-to-day network operations and delivered various infrastructure projects. Later, they joined CK Business Solutions Limited as the Senior Project Manager, overseeing key company projects. Paul also served as the Service Delivery Director at CK Business, responsible for delivering service excellence to the customer base. Paul Silke then moved on to PFH Technology Group, where they held several roles, including Senior Business Development Manager and Health Client Director. Paul'sprimary focus at PFH was driving the health business nationally and expanding the company's health business into different regions. Additionally, they served as the Member of Chamber Council at Galway Chamber and was the Chairman of Oughterard AFC, where they implemented underage structures and developed playing facilities.

Paul Silke completed their education in a chronological order. Paul obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Microbiology from N U I Galway between 1982 and 1985. Paul then pursued a Graduate Diploma in Computers from the University of Limerick from 1987 to 1988. In 1996, they attended the University of Glamorgan (through Portobello College Dublin) and earned a BA in Business Studies, which they completed in 1997. Lastly, in 2017 and 2018, they enrolled at the University of Limerick again and earned a Master of Science degree in Health Informatics.
