David Blackwell, DVM, MPH, is a dedicated public health practitioner focused on health equity and the elimination of health disparities. After completing a DVM at Tuskegee University and a Master's in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, they transitioned from veterinary medicine to clinical research and public health. Currently, David serves as a Senior Director at Pfizer, where they manage drug safety and lead initiatives in health equity, including the creation of a Health Equity Playbook in partnership with Deloitte. As a founding member of the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda, David is passionate about improving community health outcomes and reducing healthcare disparities.
