Elena Walsh

Elena Walsh is currently an Operational Excellence Lead at Pfizer and holds a B.Sc in Biomedical Science. They graduated with First Class Honours, receiving the IBMS Presidents Prize for highest final year results, and completed a research project at St. James's Hospital Dublin. Elena's professional experience includes roles as a Medical Scientist in both Biochemistry and Molecular Diagnostics, where they held significant responsibilities during the COVID-19 pandemic and contributed to the implementation of new laboratory systems. They have also worked as a Senior QC Chemist at Pfizer, focusing on GMP laboratory practices and quality control initiatives.
