Eric Watt is an accomplished computational chemist and toxicologist with a profound background in biophysical chemistry. From February 2017 to July 2022, Eric served as a Senior Principal Computational Chemist/Toxicologist and Principal Scientist - Computational Toxicologist at Pfizer. Prior to that role, Eric worked at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an ORISE Postdoctoral Fellow from May 2014 to February 2017, and held postdoctoral positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from February 2011 to April 2014, also serving as a visiting scholar. Eric completed a PhD in Biophysical Chemistry at Yale University, where studies took place from January 2005 to January 2011, following a Master’s degree in the same field from January 2005 to January 2007. Eric began the academic journey at the University of Michigan as an undergraduate researcher in the Al-Hashimi Lab from May 2003 to August 2005.
