Gemma Scotney

Gemma Scotney is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry, with extensive experience in both academic and industrial settings. Starting as a Computational Scientist and then serving as a Medicinal Chemist at AstraZeneca from April 1998, Gemma transitioned to GSK as a Process Development Chemist during a PhD Case Placement in March 2003. Currently, Gemma holds several leadership roles at Pfizer, including Director of UK Process Chemistry, Director of Chennai and US Process Chemistry, and Senior Manager, a position held since December 2021. Gemma earned a Doctorate and a Diploma of Imperial College from Imperial College London between 2001 and 2004.
