Gianluca Nucci

Gianluca Nucci has extensive experience in the field of Clinical Pharmacology, with over a decade spent at Pfizer from May 2010 to March 2023, where roles included Head of Clinical Pharmacology and Head of Clinical Pharmacology for Early Clinical Development. Nucci's leadership focused on integrating pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), patient characteristics, and disease biology to enhance clinical development strategies and dosage regimen selection, ultimately aiming for efficient drug development and optimal patient therapy. Prior to Pfizer, Nucci served at GlaxoSmithKline as Director of Clinical Pharmacology, specializing in clinical pharmacokinetics from January 2002 to January 2008. Gianluca Nucci holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Università degli Studi Padova and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the same field at Boston University.
