Joy Yang is an accomplished scientist in the field of computational chemistry with a rich background in medicinal chemistry. Joy began a career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at GlaxoSmithKline, where research focused on developing novel antibacterials targeting gram-negative pathogens. Following this role, Joy expanded expertise at Cubist Pharmaceuticals as a Scientist in Computational Chemistry, contributing to the design of optimized molecules and understanding structure-activity relationships. Joy later joined Pfizer, ascending through various leadership roles, including Associate Research Fellow and Senior Principal Scientist, ultimately leading a team in Computational Chemistry for Internal Medicine Medicinal Chemistry.
