Juan Colberg

Juan Colberg is a Senior Director of Technology & Innovation and the Global Green Chemistry Leader at Pfizer, a position held since November 2005. In this role, Juan Colberg leads the Pfizer Global Green Chemistry program, collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote environmentally sustainable practices within Discovery, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Commercial Manufacturing. Previously, Juan Colberg served as a Director, overseeing external partnerships with academic institutions. Juan Colberg's career at Pfizer Inc began in December 1992 as a Process Development Investigator, focusing on developing novel synthetic processes for drug substances and managing scale-up operations under cGMP regulations. Juan Colberg earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
