Katie Russo is an accomplished Associate Research Fellow with extensive experience in scientific research and assay development. They began their career as a Research Associate at Boston Biomedical Research Institute and then worked as an Associate Scientist at Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, focusing on protein purification and assay development. From 2008 to 2016, they held the position of Research Scientist I at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where they specialized in protein biochemistry and assay execution. After serving as a Scientific Technical Leader I at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from 2016 to 2022, Katie advanced to Pfizer, where they worked as a Principal Scientist and then a Senior Principal Scientist leading assay development and high-throughput screening in biomedicine design. Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2002.
