Klaas Dewals

Klaas Dewals has an extensive background in engineering and project management, complemented by leadership experience in both sports and organizational settings. From January 2014 to July 2019, Klaas served as a trainer at Korfbalclub KCBJ and as a youth leader at Slampamper until August 2020. Currently, Klaas holds dual roles as a consultant at Abylsen and as a project engineer specializing in STS at Pfizer, both positions starting in October 2022. Additionally, Klaas completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry and a Master's degree in Biochemistry with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering from KU Leuven. Past experiences also include a brief stint as a student with Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer in July 2017 and active membership in BEST Leuven from September 2019 to September 2022, where responsibilities included Vice President of Human Resources and alumni coordination.
