Mary Piper

Mary Piper is an accomplished Senior Principal Computational Biologist with extensive experience in the bioinformatics and genomics fields. At Pfizer from December 2021 to July 2024, Mary contributed to computational biology initiatives. Prior experience at Harvard University included serving as a Bioinformatics Trainer and Consultant, where workshop planning and genomic data analysis education were primary responsibilities. Mary also held roles at Broad Institute as a Genomics Instructor and was involved in viral research projects through different positions, including Viral Special Project Scientist. Educational background consists of a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology, specializing in Virology, and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, both obtained from the University of Michigan.
