Melissa Bishop-Murphy

Melissa Bishop-Murphy is a seasoned professional with twenty-eight years of management experience and twenty-five years in government relations, public affairs, and alliance development. They served as General Counsel for the Department of Medical Assistance from 1993 to 1998, where they managed a substantial Medicaid budget and provided legal counsel. Since joining Pfizer in 1998, they have held various roles, currently serving as Senior Director, where they develop legislative strategies and lead efforts in multicultural health equity. Melissa is also the Founder and Co-chair of Pfizer’s Multicultural Health Equity Collective, demonstrating their commitment to addressing health disparities in the U.S. They earned their law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
