Michael Flister currently serves as the Director of Pfizer R&D, providing strategic leadership for portfolio management, collaborations, and business development opportunities. Previously, at AbbVie, Michael led the Functional Genomics team to develop CRISPR screening and transcriptomics methods that advanced various therapeutic programs. As Principal Scientist, Michael led drug discovery initiatives through new target identification and testing. At the Medical College of Wisconsin, Michael was a faculty member and NIH-funded investigator focused on functional genomics and advanced research methodologies. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Bradley University and a PhD in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
